Infinity Designs was started as a tribute to my mom, a breast cancer survivor.

A week before Christmas 2007, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was with my mom the day she received the dreaded news. Her diagnosis was very difficult to accept. There were so many questions and emotions as she was faced with this difficult journey that lay ahead.

I looked at my mom as brave as she continued to move forward going to work, going to endless doctor appointments, facing surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. It was very difficult to see my mom go through this.

During her cancer treatments we met so many wonderful people. The doctors that saved her life, the many nurse's, healthcare staff, family & friends that gave her such incredible support while she was undergoing treatment for this disease.

My mom wanted to be able to show her appreciation for all they did for her and to let them know the impact that each and everyone of them had on her life. It was during this time I started making breast cancer awareness cards and items for my mother to give as gifts and "Infinity Designs" was created.

I am so grateful that my mom got a second chance at life. Seeing her go through this ordeal has changed me and my view on life in so many ways. I think of all the incredible women who have fought this disease, those who have lost their lives and those who continue to fight.

I wanted to be able to give back. I wanted to help in the fight against breast cancer, so one day there will be a cure. But most of all, I wanted to brighten other's days. Often it's the little things that can bring a smile to someone's face. I hope my breast cancer items will do just that. 20 % of the proceeds from the sale of my Breast Cancer Awareness Items goes directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
